Shout your truth LOUD

Have you ever had someone shame you into staying small?
Have YOU ever shamed yourself into staying small?

Maybe you think "shame" is too big a word to use for you --- I have that same association with it. "Pshhh, c'mon, I don't have shame... I'm proud of who I am. I LOVE who I am."

But, whether I want to admit it or not, "shame" is exactly what keeps us small. There's no other way around it.

It's Fear's quiet, but potent, little sister and she's responsible for those whispers in your ear, "Shhhh.... what will they think???" and "Ohhhh, I don't really think we're ready yet..."

Y'know, when you start taking big steps, get excited about the path you're embarking on or how you're starting to live your life, and then the side-eye or words of judgment from other people (whether imagined or real) causes you to re-think, to doubt, to go,

"Oh... yeah, maybe that really is a bad / dumb / weird / irresponsible idea...,"
"Maybe I'M weird... maybe I'M not quite "it" or "ready" enough to do what I was just dreaming of doing..."

and you shrink back to who you were or what you were doing before?

If that's you, read on --- and make the choice to get back into your bigness and live the life YOU are meant to live; not the one someone else is.

So how do you know if it's truly the right thing for you?
How do you know which voice to listen to?
How can you tell if your idea is truly inspired by who you are meant to be, or if it's really not the right thing for you, and they're right?

If it resonates in you to your core, if it feels aligned with your soul path, with who you are (and you will know it if it is because it's only someone ELSE's judgment that caused you to doubt it in the first place), if it brings you on-purpose joy --- and if doors, or even teeny-tiny-baby windows, start opening as if by magic when you start taking steps in its direction --- listen to that voice a bit closer.

Part of our path in this life is to push through the stuff that we're meant to learn in ORDER to live our soul's path --- that doesn't necessarily mean pushing through every fear, every roadblock, as if you're some kind of giant, badass bulldozer.

It means getting still, getting aligned with WHO YOU ARE in your depth, and then forging forward powerfully, plugging your ears and singing (living) loudly enough to drown out the nay-sayers and the ones who aren't ready to up-level with you.

Get it, girl.
If it's your truth, SHOUT THAT SHIT LOUD, with a healthy dose of "don't give a shit what you think."

Doing that is uncomfortable, and it's meant to be... We don't grow without resistance.

So, quit "smalling" yourselves, please, Goddesses.
It's not what you're here for.
