Your body speaks to you.

Since at least 1996, I’ve had horrible, horrible migraines — at least a few times a year.
 

In that 20 year span, I always had a prescription for Cyclobenzaprine — a muscle relaxer — which I would have to take if the migraine went from DEFCON 5 (one Advil) and into DEFCON 3 (quarter of a muscle relaxer) or higher.

{At DEFCON 1, it would be a whole pill, minimal vision (because opening my eyes was painful), trying not to vomit, and lights out for several hours.}
 

Even when I wasn’t having a migraine, the tension at the base of my spine was a constant —

— requiring endless stretching, seeking out massage therapists who knew how to find "the spot," and the drone of low grade headaches.
