All birthing comes with death.

I've come to realize that all birthing comes with death.

In whatever form it takes ---
I have a sense that the birthing comes not a moment before we have finally surrendered the last shred of our holding onto what was,

who we used to be, what we wanted to control, how we thought it was supposed to be, how we thought it was supposed to feel, what we tried so hard NOT to feel ---

--- the moment we surrender to Love, die to Love, with the full-bodied release and softening of one who no longer seeks to Control because what we Love is so much bigger.

The Death of Ego.
Of expectation.
Of requirement.
Of Fear.

It is the Cosmic Transaction.

I will give you Life as soon as you give me your Death.

Not when you're still holding onto the corner of the Fear you're attached to, trying to not let go until you're "certain" you have what you want in your other hand...

Love and Fear.
Bliss and Control.
Abundance and Need.

...because these two Beings glance at each other across the aether, but they can't exist in the same space.
