Balance doesn't mean Equal

This came through me in a coaching call today, and I feel called to share it here --- it was an awesome a-ha for me, too. :)

"You're going to be experiencing your Masculine and Feminine in different ways, and that's exactly where the Balance comes from.

It doesn't come from them being the same on both sides so much as it comes from them being in the Dance together."

Sometimes we think that "balance" means consistently being even-keel, calm, peaceful --- that everything should feel the same on all sides, at all times.

But we forget that the Masculine and the Feminine carry different energies.
Opposite energies, in fact.

They're not supposed to feel the same at all.

And so, Balance doesn't mean it all looks the same.

Balance means we Love, EQUALLY, the differences because they're MEANT to be different.

For me, this is pretty literal:
I receive the Feminine Soul and Archetype through Emotion; and I receive the Masculine Soul and Archetype with a lot more of a CHARGE --- an electricity.

For a split second, I wondered if I was doing it wrong
--- connecting with the Feminine Archetype and energy --- because I didn't feel it as intensely as I felt the Masculine.

But then I remembered: Oh, of course. They are MEANT to be different.
They are MEANT to bring in different energies, different sensations, different experience.

That's why they DANCE.
And that's how they come into Union.

For you, this might look more like Allowing for the breakdown when a breakdown wants to happen;

maybe it's Allowing for messy emotions when messy emotions want to happen;

maybe it's Allowing for the Unknown to be just that --- Unknown --- instead of trying to force an answer;

maybe it's Allowing for the slowing, the stillness, the ebb, the exhale ---

--- because it's exactly that that Allows us to inhale again.
