The deep benefits of “Nothingness.”

Last weekend, after a 'social distancing picnic' with my parents — I took an extra 30 minutes to just drive around the sunny, forested roads, windows down, music loud, smelling the nature smells and waving my arm in the warm, rushing air.

I drove down roads that went nowhere — no outlet — just because that's where I happened to turn. At one point, I stopped and pulled into a dirt road, surrounded by trees that weren't Redwoods but could've been they were so massive —

and I just inhaled.

I think sometimes we forget that "nothingness" is actually deeply Creative Energy. We've gotten so caught up in the big, the loud, the busy, the growth, the "productive" — that we've completely forgotten that there's an entirely other Frequency of Creative Energy, one that operates in Waves instead of the expected straight-lines of a Particle,

one that allows us to touch straight into the Realm of Possibility, and creates Expansion exponentially, in other words, that feeds us and fills us and Expands us into the places we've always been wishing we could go — in ways that don't make rational sense, in ways that no amount of pushing and doing and "being productive" and "having a plan" ever could.

But because we can't "Measure" that kind of Creative Energy — we focus, like addicts, on the ways we 'think' we get to have Control. On the strategies, plans, algorithms, on the numbers of likes and followers, on the rational ways someone says they have "proven."

And in that way,
we keep ourselves Limited.

We work only with the Creative Energy that's already here. We miss, completely, the Creative Energy that lies beyond the "ruler" — and, so doing, we become the ruled.

I didn't drive around the forest-y roads like that to "get somewhere."

I did it because it fed my Soul.

I did it because it felt like Freedom.

I did it because it felt like Me.
