Never a mistake

When you're in deep process of energetic 'tuning' ---
 

be careful what "flaws" you declare yourself to have,
or what things you declare you're still working through...
 

Last night, I made the mistake* of admitting that I'm still working through my People Pleaser patterning.

Today, I fucked up my calendar and missed an interview.

Like, totally missed it.

Cue the bitter, full-body cocktail of Shame,
beating myself up,
frantically trying to fix, fix, fix, fix ---

--- make sure you're still PLEASIIIIIIIIING and "OKAY."

Ugh.

The irony?

We were going to talk about how to navigate business when you have "failures."

Clever, Universe.
Clever.

*Never a mistake.  Just like missing the interview wasn't a mistake.

It was apparently time for me to fall on my face a bit,
feel mortified for disappointing someone (which is like DEATHHHHHHH to a People Pleaser),
so that I could find out I can still be just fine with a bit of mud decorating my cheekbones.
