One of the worst things to come out of this coaching industry

One of the worst things to come out of this coaching industry, imo — {and no, I absolutely don't hate this industry, I'm immensely grateful for it... but some things still need to be dug up from the murky underbelly and need to be done drastically differently}

— is the Comparison, Shame, and utter unwillingness to simply Be With life.

Lifestyle Marketing and the focus on attaining more more more more more more more has given us a false — and terrifyingly skewed — idea of how we ‘Measure’ our lives, our success, our Energetic Alignment, our happiness.

{the fact that these things aren’t actually Measurable is a completely different topic I’ll get into some other time}

Oh, but we love to be able to Measure things.

Because we love to be able to have the illusion of Control that comes with the ability to say “we’re doing it right.” So in come all the rulers and the measuring tapes. All the formulas and equations and algorithms.

And suddenly what we have, how much we have, what we look like, how quickly we accelerate through arbitrary hoops and milestones, how unceasingly we rise up arbitrary ladder rungs, and what it all looks like while we do it determines how happy we must be, how Worthy we are, how valuable we are in our lives or to anyone else around us, how much Wisdom we hold, how Energetically Aligned we are, what Gold we have to offer.

And all of this — is us blindly handing ourselves over to the Machine. It is actually us WISHING to BECOME the Machine. Let that one sink in for a second. All of this is us WISHING to become the Machine.

How? Because Life is actually in existence, and continues to REMAIN in existence, only because of this:

Difference. Different timing. Different species. Different pathways. Different currents. Different winds. Different polarities. Different cycles. Different seasons. Different states. Different genetics. Different forms. Different perspectives.

Lifestyle Marketing says: “Be like me! Have what I have!” It says: “This outcome is how you know you’ve made it.” It says: “This measurement is how you know you’re on the right Path.” It says: “This experience, this lifestyle, this appearance, and this particular display of accomplishment is how you know you’re doing it right.” It says: “This achievement is how you know you have anything to offer.”

When the Truth is, literally none of these are real. They are just us all being “good little cogs” in the Machine that’s more than happy to reward our continued upholding of ITS Control.

Blue pill or red pill, Neo?

I dare you to celebrate the parts of you, or your Path, that aren’t ‘approved of’ or ‘rewarded by’ the Machine. I dare you to hire the mentors that don’t hock lifestyle and achievements as their ROI. I dare you to stop defining your Worth by anything you can actually take a tape measure to.

I dare you to start focusing on the things within you that you literally could never Measure — as your GIFTS and as your Abundance. I dare you to start letting the Invisible tell you when you’re Aligned, tell you when you’re on the right Path, tell you your next right move… and Believing in more than just what you can see so far.

Not always an easy thing.

But we gotta start
reclaiming our access
