The toxicity of certain coaches and mentors

There's a lot of big shares and revelations lately about the toxicity of certain coaches and mentors, and the coaching industry in general... And I'll admit, one of the things that my Cosmic Team has been guiding me to do over the past year — is distance myself from the coaching industry, insofar as They don't want me to identify so much "as a coach"

and They don't want me looking to anyone in this industry as the example of 'how I should be doing things'.... whether that's a mentor or a peer (for someone with an open Crown and open G in Human Design, this is easier said than done).

I'm also not going to pretend it's all peaches and roses here in this industry. I've seen too much to know that's not the case.

It's a little 'wild west' here, and Discernment is sooooooo key. There's some absolutely toxic, Wounded and highly WoundING practices in this industry — and some of them by some of the most visible, most successful people.

I'm also in no way saying that this shouldn't be called out, letting people know there are not-so-clean and not-so-in-integrity teachers — it absolutely should.

But a couple of things are arising for me as I'm seeing more and more and more posts — some applauding the people sharing openly about toxic teachers, some saying those sharing are inflammatory and toxic themselves...

But I feel like, as we tend to do, we're finding ourselves in a "this side or that side" conversation.

I feel like there's a Call here
that wants to be heard.

So this is what I've been exploring: How are we Receiving this information?

Are we listening deeply to our Subtle Realms to see what's happening in there as we see these posts? Are we secretly — consciously or unconsciously — reveling in someone successful and 'pedestaled' getting called out? Are we unconsciously feeling better about ourselves because we see someone else's flaws?

Are we suddenly feeling terrified that we're terrible, too? That we're wrong for having learned from this person, or resonated with this person, or unknowingly played along with a toxic form of doing business or marketing? Are we finding ourselves freezing up, afraid to be called out next? Letting it stop us from continuing to Deliver our Soul Work, our Medicine, our Truths?

Or can we just let ourselves learn from what we see, find the Heart and the deeper Integrity and the deeper Humanity in the center of what's being asked for in these posts; can we listen to what the Collective is calling for and be a student to what is unfolding; and can we let ourselves simply be a greater Stand for the kind of world — coaching and otherwise, and the kind of treatment of one another that these situations are begging for?

For me, one of the things I've been realizing over this past year that this 'online world' is asking for is a deeper Intentionality and a Return to Mother and to the Primordial Feminine (these are different, in my book, but hold similar Frequencies): out of the immediacy… the urgency… the 'get'… the 'take'… the un-thoughtfulness… the 'it's all about me'… the lack of awareness of anyone else's needs as long as it suits our own

and a Return to Presence… steadfastness… Co-Creation… consideration of the Whole of the Village… Sacred Service…the Both / And… the most Loving thing for all involved… the open-hearted meeting of one another in a way where all needs are honored… the deep care.

That's what I'm taking from all these posts I'm seeing. It's not about them, for me. Personally, I'm trying to keep my eyes on my own paper.

But I'm also learning, witnessing, studying what I don't want to do in my own business, how I don't want to hold my own clients and containers, and what I want to watch for — lest my Ego get the better of me — so I can keep to the Sacred Path, at least as best as I can, and look more and more to the Mentors and Teachers I see doing this so beautifully, so I can fill my Field with those who have been walking that Sacred Path for longer than I have, and not with those who are chasing Ego.

As with everything, in my view — it's HOW we Receive the input and information of life all around us, and what we do with it that has the biggest determination on how healing and Expansive the situations become.

I don't say any of this assuming I 'know better' than anyone else, just an exploration and sharing of where my Heart has been as I see more and more and more and more posts bringing some pretty ugly things to Light.
