On Oneness & Duality

Just saw a beautiful post by a beautiful man on FB ---

{all of this is paraphrased / my words, 
simply to summarize}
 

--- about how he doesn't call himself a Coach because it would be easier for him to stay stuck in his own tendency for Hiding....

That, without calling himself a Coach, he feels more free to be vulnerable, to play outside of hierarchy, and share more deeply of his process, his heart, his thoughts.

That, yes, he does offer work with those who feel called to work with him, and yes he offers healing experiences ---

--- but
{and this is something that has been coming through from my Team recently, as well}

that removing the "label" can provide a FREEDOM to be whatever it is we ARE without expectation, conditioning, measurements, better-thans or less-thans, without Shoulds or Shame.
 

The Truth is that his offering --- like all of OUR offerings, whatever it is we're offering, whether it's our great work or our hearts, our service or our friendship ---

--- is unlike any. single. other human's offering out there.
 

Full stop.
 

What cages we create for ourselves when we attach so strongly to a label, to an assignation, that it keeps us from our fullest and most authentic Expression...
 

What cages have you built for yourself with labels, assumptions, expectations or measurements?
And how can you set those free?

Now, what's also Truth is that those labels, those words, can also provide a short-hand and a context for understanding that allows for others to recognize themselves and their needs in what we do...

...and this is valuable.


It can AID in our Expression in that way; and it can aid in our Connection with others; it can give us a Singularity to stand upon and step up into our own Power.
 

Saying, "I am a Coach" when you're starting out can be powerful, it can be liberating and can free us from the shadows of thinking we're not "ready."

Owning, truly owning, that YOU ARE A ____ can be Activating.

In that vein, is there a label or title that would feel helpful for you to hold right now, to support you in taking your next step forward?

How can you let yourself embody that Activation now?

If this seeming contradiction feels confusing, that's perfect.
 

As with everything --- there is no One Way.
As with everything --- it is a Both / And.

Categorization can be both helpful and hindering.
Labels can bring both understanding and limitation.

What's important, in all aspects of Paradox (of which this world is made) --- is asking:

Is this EXPANSIVE for me?
Or is it Constrictive?
 

Is it helping me to become fully realized and fully Expressed as exactly who I am?
Or is it keeping me stuck in a box of my own making?

Every time I have a conversation with a woman about the Archetypes --- the LIGHT suddenly seems to turn on in her heart, her Soul, her inner Knowing...

"OH --- THIS... this conditioned Forgetting is the reason for the pain and suffering and stuckness I've been feeling. THIS makes so much sense now!"

Her reality Expands from the one she's known.


This is the Expansion and Opening that can comes of Duality.
Of understanding the 'categorization.'
 

And yet, being the humans we are, we get attached --- and when we become attached to the definitions within that Duality, we feel pain.

Constriction.
Shutting down.
This or that-ness.
Me vs. you-ness.


And this is when Unity steps into the Dance, reminding us all that all is, again as always, truly, One.
That there is no Separation.
That anything less than Oneness is an illusion.

And we begin to breathe again.

Expansion.
Opening.
Lightness of reality.

Oneness is Expansive.
Duality is Expansive.
And both can be damaging, Wounding, Constrictive.
 

It's where we're standing, how we're viewing our situation, and how we're CHOOSING --- always --- that determines which we experience.
