What if I’m Just Not Meant to Find Love? (And Why That Question Is Bullsh*t)
As a Love+Life Coach, I’ve heard this question from my clients many times — and it’s the “Fear Voice” that makes me the angriest.
Because it’s the most self-defeating, hopeless, soul-shrinking and cruelest of the Fear Voices (which includes fellow Fear Voices, “Not Good Enough,” “Failure,” “You’ll Get Hurt (Again),” and “Nobody Will Understand You”).
We can temporarily self-talk our way through a lot of the other Fear Voices, long enough to take a few steps forward toward our dreams — but the “It’s Not Meant for You” Voice is especially dastardly.
There’s no way to rationalize or pep-talk our way out of that one, because it cuts deep — right into the part of us that generates our inner-cheerleader.
I hate that Fear Voice.
I also especially hate it because it’s the most boldfaced LIE.
Because not only are you meant to have love — as a human Soul inhabiting a human body in this human lifetime, it’s actually WHY you’re here; it’s your birthright — the very fact that you’re desiring to have love means it’s POSSIBLE for you.
