You're not quitting, you're just choosing something else

I would love to see the word "quitting" removed
from our language...

And "giving up."

Maybe the words themselves aren't terrible,
and it's just the Shame-filled meanings
we've laced through them over the years
in this Patriarchal society that's trained us to believe that faster and farther, at all cost, is always best.

Maybe it's just the implied "should / should have" that comes along with those terms,
as if anyone else could possibly know what's better for anyone else than they do;
as if there's only One Way;
as if growth, Expansion, Success, or anything about our Soul Paths are ever a straight line.

Choosing.
Not Choosing yet.
Deciding.
Feeling Uncertain, even.

These are words I love.

They hold Power.
They hold Free Will.
They hold Presence and the willingness to meet the Unknown,
without the implied "shoulds" that say it's not okay to be there.

They create MOVEMENT in the Quantum Energetics around and within us.

There is, of course, always the matter of the Energy UNDERNEATH these things

(WHY you're Choosing something,
what's behind your not Choosing yet,
the Expansiveness or Narrowness of your Deciding,
the Active Surrender or the complacent avoidance of your Uncertainty, for example)

But in general, please never think that you're a quitter.
Never think that you gave up.

You're just Choosing.

You just Chose.

And you always get to Choose.

You can STILL Choose, now,
more Powerfully,
more Expansively,
than you did before.

Maybe not the same THINGS (because situations and people are not yours to Control) —
— but, right now, you get to Choose the same Power you doubted within you before,
the same Inner Knowing you thought you couldn't follow before,
the same Purpose or Destiny you had a hard time Believing before.

You didn't quit.

You didn't give up.

You just Chose something else,

and that's perfect,
and you get to Choose it again if you want to.

Time and the Quantum Universe is fun that way.
Watch how it meets you when you start Choosing more Powerfully, more Expansively.
