What if your Lover isn’t willing to do the work?
This is a fantastic question I received recently — and my response:
"What if your love/lover is not willing to do their own work (yet)?"
There's no one answer for this.
The Truth is that we're never going to all be on the same Path, at the same time. Our journeys are all different, all beautiful, all perfect, and all on their own timelines.
Some may be guided away from partners who don't "seem aligned," Others are going to be guided to stay with partners who don't "seem aligned" — what each of us Choose depends on what our Souls are calling us into, and what we're here to receive, heal, transmute, transform, learn.
The reason I say "seem aligned" is because there is Medicine in both of these — and that's why our Souls choose relationship in the first place.
So, for some, their Soul might Choose a partner in which there is a perceived stark Contrast exactly SO THAT the forms of Wound that arise from that Contrast, create that Contrast, or create the perception of that Contrast, are healed.
The only way to Know is to do your own work, and continue to open to be Guided — rather than 'think' your way through.
Your best way through
is your Soul's way through.
There are also ways to speak to your Lover in ways that express your needs AND honor their Sovereignty — which is always going to allow them to step into THEIR Highest Path, and their ability to meet you, more readily.
