I just got a great question from a former Golden Goddess client (who is now in Goddesspreneur) — and I'm feeling called to share it here with you...
She expressed some confusion around the Paradox that comes of diving into the teachings around the Feminine and Masculine energies — and allowing each Archetype to have its natural expression, play its natural role (Which is important in literally EVERYTHING we do — from relationships, to Intuition, to Manifesting what we desire.)
The Paradox she was talking about — if you're familiar — were the two seemingly conflicting ideas of:
"Let Him lead"
The principle of allowing the Masculine his Sacred traits of Discernment, Action, Giving, etc.
and
"Feminine goes first"
The principle of honoring the Feminine
— Her Intuition, Sensation and Emotions —
before (or at least while) taking Action in that Masculine energy.
(These both refer to the Feminine and Masculine Archetypes that we all have within us... AND the Energetic 'role-play' that happens in our relationships, the Dance of our polarities that create the greatest Harmony between two people.)
You can see why these seem confusing and at odds. Like, which is it, then, right?
But a lot of that confusion, in my view, comes from the fact that most of the work out there that teaches about these Archetypal principles aren't actually telling you the whole story...
Most other teachings of this work feels “partly right” to me. (As opposed to how my whole nervous system releases when I see other teachers who teach it in its true Wholeness.)
The work done around our romantic Love, tends to teach us to let him lead, to just lean back — but this can quickly slip into submissiveness, and an abandoning of our innate Feminine Power within.
The work done around Empowering women, however, tends to teach us to tap into our Feminine above everything else — but this can also keep us out of our innate ability to Receive fully from the Masculine (whether that's Masculine energy partners or things like Money).
I also feel some Wound and Ego in the other teachings, if I'm honest — some false ideals that actually create even more abandonment of Self rather than healing it — and they often keep us ricocheting back and forth between two sides of the Wound instead of actually bringing the Archetypes into their Beautiful, easy alignment.
And one of the things these other teachings forget is a really important part of the equation:
That it always must be a Paradox.
Anything else, and there would be an automatic hierarchy created. Him or Her above the other. The paradox ensures the mutual Honoring, the energetic Dance.
In Her fullness,
She is both guiding and Receiving.
In His,
He is both leading and supporting.
It’s meant to be both confusing and non linear — in part because that's how the Quantum Realm works, and in part so that we don’t get tempted to put a stake in the ground and start phoning it in.
And it’s the ability to hold BOTH of those Truths which is why this work is so fucking powerful... because we are no longer abandoning ANY part of ourselves in favor of the other. It allows for both mutual Sovereignty and mutual Worship. I.e. their true Union.
And then, HELLO Quantum Leap.
